*Drumrolls*

Not just because I get to meet the super-cool author Yashodhara Lal of Just Married,Please Excuse fame.

Not because this would be the first time I would be meeting an editor or anyone from the world of writing, publishing etc. ( And I get to meet  the chief editor of Harper Collins )

And  finally not because I get to eat at Mamagoto which apparently is a very good and famous joint in Delhi.

Its because this is the first time I get recognized for something I never have been, before! My entry has a won me a date with some super cool people at a brilliant restaurant!

Its for all the persistent efforts I put in to update my blog instead of letting it die a slow painful death.Even on those extremely busy days !

This winning post especially was written on one such day when the maid had decided to conveniently take off leaving me with a sink full of dishes to be done, some really important tasks related to work which needed my full time attention and a foodie husband demanding a special dish for dinner! And all I had was half an hour to literally squeeze out a quick post. Yet, this post came out as a winner. As they say, sometimes simple things like this that comes straight out of heart leave a lasting impression than the ones orchestrated for hours.

I am truly delighted and ecstatic!! This definitely is the first of its kind and who knows may be the first of many more to come 🙂

I have a lot of people to thank for this. To begin with Yashodhara for hosting such a cute and funny contest. Yash~  Thank you so much again!!

The most important of all –  Dh. He has been a constant motivator and has been a huge support and not to forget a big critic to all the posts in iScribble. Thank you so much S.

Shankari for bringing this to my notice.

To my family ( since its customary 😉 )

Finally a big thanks all of you who took time to drop by and comment here 🙂 I can’t thank you all enough!

Uff – I don’t understand how people manage to give Vote of Thanks!!

As far as I am concerned, I already had a celebratory dinner at Bercos 🙂
